“Turbo rating” is SMOK’s measure of wire winding density in the coil – a higher number means more wire surface area contacting the wick, generally translating to faster ramp-up and more vapor at the same wattage. Compatible With
SMOK TFV8 Tank Common Questions Q
Which TFV8 coil hits the hardest? The V8-T10 at 0.12ohm has the widest wattage ceiling (up to 300W) and the most coil strands (Decuple), so it produces the most vapor in the lineup – but it also drains a battery and burns through e-liquid the fastest. Q
What does the Turbo rating (6.6T, 5.0T, etc.) mean? It’s SMOK’s rating for the coil’s wire winding density. A higher Turbo number means more wire surface area making contact with the wick, which generally means faster ramp-up and more vapor at the same wattage. Q
My TFV8 tank leaks from the airflow ring after a coil change. What’s wrong?Check that the coil’s o-rings are seated and undamaged before screwing it in, and make sure the tank isn’t overfilled past the max-fill line – both are the most common causes of a leak right after a coil swap. Q
Do these fit the TFV8 Baby Beast or Big Baby Beast too?No. Despite the similar name, the Baby Beast and Big Baby Beast use the smaller V8 Baby coil deck, not this full-size TFV8 coil. Check your tank’s model name before ordering. For use by adults 21+.
